Update
February 18th, 2008
We’ll assume that due to the lack of complaints regarding the frequency of our blog, readership is down. Or, we just have very patient fans.
Yes, we had some down time after the new year, so there wasn’t a whole lot to write about. Well, maybe there was, but we chose not to. You’ll never know.
Anyway, things are picking up in a big way. We’re working on a new studio album, to be out in August. It will have a number of the new originals many of you have heard us perform within this last year.
We’ll also be releasing the companion cd to our PBS show. The actual songs as heard on the television special, in the order which they appear.
We’ve been learning some new songs to be introduced at our upcoming shows.
We’ve been given the green light for the Minnesota State Fair band-shell this August.
We’re working with Habitat For Humanity on a number of fund-raising efforts, including possibly a house build. If the latter goes through, we’ll be bringing along a limited number of fans to help out…and make fun of TSF’s limited mechanical skills.
We know it’s early, but we’ve already been forced to assemble our 2008 holiday tour. Once it’s finalized, we’ll post it early for our devoted followers.
Just got back from a corporate show in Miami two weeks ago. Just thought you might like to know.
That should give you a little something for now. We’ve got a lot more we’re working on, and once we know for sure, we’ll give you the details.
Off the subject, please check out Wireless Amber Alerts
You’ve all heard of the Amber Alert system. It works. It’s important. The wireless amber alerts are easy to sign up for, unobtrusive, and you’ll hopefully never have to receive any. But just think, your cell phone could be the link to saving a missing child.
