Tonic Sol-Fa

More of Tonic Sol-fa in Preble County.

Here’s some misplaced footage we found from this year’s trip to the Preble County Pork Festival, Yes, there’s a lot of food, but here we also have some video of the voice we hear introducing everything over the loudspeaker, from Tonic Sol-fa, to the smorgasbord, to racing pigs. Not necessarily in that order.

Hey! Minnesota Music Educators

Smart television = oxymoron?

A lot of musicians expressly write about music when they blog. That’s never been the issue with us. Not only do we get bored with the subject, but we figure you get bored listening to it. Therefore, I’ve taken it upon myself to list the television shows I am currently subscribed to on hulu.com.

I used to have a DVR and a multitude of cable channels, but realized how little of them I was using, so in a time when we’re all trying to save a buck, this highly acclaimed website has come in handy. Having already been the punch-line to many TSF jokes regarding my t.v.(and movie) viewing habits, I see no reason to deny the issue anymore. The following is not in any particular order, nor am I taking the time to write notes on why I like each of them. Also, I am in no way insinuating that these are my only viewing inclinations, but I figure that if I introduce them in small batches, you won’t think less of me. Oh, and I also have a membership to Netflix. Argh! I’ve said too much. J

On the road again.

We don’t argue the fact that much of what we do is to the amusement of ourselves.
