The brand-new Tonic Sol-fa PBS special, “If I Can Dream,” is coming to your television this fall! Already over 60% of the country is set to air this non-holiday show shot in Des Moines, IA. Our goal is to reach a 100% station participation in all states and all markets.

Scenes from a fair convention – Part 2

This installment may not contain new pop culture one-liners like the previous vlog, but it should bring a little smile to your face. We apologize for the sound level. It seems that the crowded room made for less than ideal camera mic reception.

Scenes from a fair convention – part 1

Our latest attempt at capturing the life and times of TSF on moving picture.

Just One Of Those Days now on iTunes!

In celebration of our new album now available on iTunes, we bring you a new vlog which has nothing to do with it. Instead, here’s a little of our trip to Pennsylvania for your enjoyment.

Whew!

Springtime has been flying by and it looks as though summer will be here in just a few very very long weeks……at any rate, I feel our spring shows have gone well and have been a blast!  For the most part, they’ve all been full houses, and for the first time in our existence, we decided to put a show together in which we are performing every song from our new cd “Just One of Those Days”, and I have to say, it’s been fun!!!

Already we’ve been putting together and practicing new songs for the holiday tour – and, whoever said listening to Christmas songs in April is ridiculous is, I think at least, completely wrong.  However, if you listen to them in March, you need to get your head checked…..ahem, Jared.

Speaking of the holiday tour, keep checking for updated schedules….it is starting to get packed again, and if you think we couldn’t possibly do better than we have on previous year’s tours, you’re probably right….at least in Mark’s case!  Ha!  I kid because I care.

Seriously though folks, good times are a-waitin’ for this year’s tour, and, on a tangent, finally I get to be pictured in a national magazine with the rest of the guys (see the May 4th issue of Country Weekly), as opposed to our spot in Newsweek.  I’m not bitter though.  Really.  I’m not.  Bitter.

For those of you unable to pick up this week’s copy of County Music Weekly with Dolly on the cover, here’s the page with Tonic Sol-fa. To be exact it’s page 26, in the “Listen Up!” section.

Check us out in Country Weekly Magazine in the first week of May.  A song from our new album, “Just One of Those Days,” will be available for a free download.

For those of you who are needing your TSF fix but who live outside of the Midwest, we are visiting Texas, Alabama and more for extended 2010 spring tours.  We cannot wait to see you in person!  And speaking of touring, Tonic Sol-fa is in talks to tour Asia… cross your fingers!

If you live in Iowa and like Phil Vassar (the country star/writer), TSF will be joining him for a special show in Emmetsburg, IA, on July 19th of this year.

We will be continuing our relationship with Well’s Blue Bunny Ice Cream this Christmas season.  Check back for more details as the holidays draw near.

Finally, Tonic Sol-fa will be collaborating with the American Heart Association and specifically, the Go Red for Women Campaign during the 2009 Fall/Winter Tour.  We couldn’t be more pleased to be associated with the fantastic efforts of the AHA!

New album available for pre-order!

Finally! We have our new album, “Just One Of Those Days”, up and ready for pre-sale in our website’s store.  Reserve your copy today!

OK…..spring has sprung!  Well, at least on the calendar…….for if you live in Minnesota, it can one day be here, the next be back to winter…..at any rate it’s nice to be past the major winter storms anyway!

So, life has been crazy as of late!  Getting ready for the release of the new album, putting together the new PBS special, and learning many new songs for the show can take a lot out of a guy – not me, mind you; I was talking about Jared.  Seriously, if you’ve seen him lately, you know what I mean.

But, I digress.  What really matters is we are all ready to rock for the summer and are already working on new songs for the Christmas tour….I know, kinda early.  Maybe this way we will remember what we’re supposed to sing…or where Mark’s supposed to stand!  HA!
