Greg’s TSF photo shoot memories

Guess what we got to do last week?  PHOTO SHOOT!!!  Yeah, I know, it’s been awhile since we’ve had some new pix, but I’m pretty sure it’ll have been worth the wait.  Why, you ask?  I’ll tell you.  Because, they’re new!  That’s why!  Ha!  Ha, Ha!!

Anyway, so we got some cool clothing to use from Elsworth Menswear and showed up to the non-air conditioned warehouse on July 3rd to start snapping some pictures – now, we knew it would be a warm day on July 3rd when we set this shoot up back in January, but what we didn’t know at the time was the location (the aforementioned NON-AIR CONDITIONED warehouse) and the fact that it would not only be warm, but we’d be in the middle of one of the craziest heat waves we’ve had for some time and the outside temp was hovering in the high 90′s which made the inside temp in the low 100′s….I would personally like to thank Marcellus Fan (the man who invented the fan) and Horatio Oscellatious (the inventor of Oscellation) for making it bear-able.  Also, to the inventor of Speed Stick, we all thank you on behalf of Jared.  Not kidding.

For what it’s worth, I had a very fun time.  It always feels goofy having to pose for 300 some pictures knowing that you will most likely find 5 or 6 that make the cut (it can be difficult getting 4 grown men to all look good – or even normal – at one time, especially with my raucously side splitting commentary, Shaun’s plethora of hair, Mark’s high cheekbones, and Jared.)  But, it makes for yet another interesting day in the life of a musician.

You know who else had a lot of interesting days?  Marcellus and Horatio.  Can you imagine the amazing innovation and brainstorming sessions that must have been had by those two?  Blows my mind!  Get it?  Cuz’ of the fan?  Walt Disney’s imagineering crew has nothing on these two.  I love Space Mountain.

Nothing like a Greg blog to pep up a slow day! I cannot tell you how much I enjoy reading your blogs and actually giggled a little just seeing the notification pop up on my phone. Really…just ask my co-worker. :)

I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall of the warehouse watching the poor photographer trying to keep the four of you focused on the task at hand…like monkeys in a zoo, I bet! (I say this with love, of course.) I hope you paid him/her really, really well!

    Love ya! ?

    Marcia
