July 29th, 2013
What a month it has been! First performing in the beautiful Door County at the beginning of the month (okay, it was officially June 30th, but we traveled home on July 1st and I think that counts), then stopping in Northwest Iowa to celebrate the 4th and heading back to Minnesota to entertain the wonderful community of Excelsior, followed by hopping a plane to take an extended detour to Texas to sing for the Oklahoma Hospital Association and the First Baptist Church of Grapevine, we even fit in a visit to Dealey Plaza in downtown Dallas, an evening at Billy Bob’s Honky Tonk and an incredible meal at Hard Eight BBQ. After returning from the South, we made our way to Cambridge, Minnesota for an event to benefit a group traveling to Rwanda. The next day, we traveled to Somerset, Wisconsin to support the Wounded Warriors project by participating in the 2013 Tough Mudder obstacle course (and it was tough!). This weekend, we are looking forward to returning to the Dunn County Fair in Menomonie, Wisconsin. There is nothing like performing outdoors on a beautiful night, surrounded by great people and ridiculously good fair food. We will close out the month in Saint Cloud, Minnesota this coming Monday night with a concert to benefit the Miracles of Mitch Foundation at Saint Cloud State University. This charity is doing incredible things for children with cancer and their families, it is an honor to be a part of this event. If you are in the Saint Cloud area, please come and join us on Monday, we would love to see you there! – What a crazy month, but a good one, with some unforgettable memories.
